John W. from Danbury, WIThis is much more heavy duty than expected. The photo does not show it clearly. Thea P. from Iowa City, IAThe product arrived promptly and was fairly simple to put together. One thing I was not expecting was for the dip bars to be able to move side-to-side. I haven't seen this feature on stations like this before, but it's very useful. The side-to-side give makes it necessary to use pectoral and shoulder muscles to stabilize the bars that are supporting one's weight, so the exercise hits more than just the triceps. The option of wide-grip or narrow-grip pull-ups also allows one to hit a greater range of muscles. The only thing I worry about is that the machine tilts slightly backwards and while the entirety of the structure is stabilized just fine by the wide base, the main vertical bars themselves are only supported by the push-up bars at the bottom of the structure. I think perhaps this may lead eventually to the vertical bars bending backwards, but only time will tell. I've had the equipment for over a month now and there's no sign of warping so... so far so good! Brenda W. from La Crescenta, CAThe product is very sturdy and the pieces quite strong. We are very happy with the equipment and the hard working customer service. Aallen S. from Seattle, WAGenerally solid construction, but some flex despite the fact that I'm only 125 lbs. Versatile thanks to the push-up handles and dip station. A good deal for the price. Click here to read ALL customer reviews for this product |
