This is the truly squirrel-proof feeder if you hang it as directed. I own one and bought this one for friends who have major squirrel problems. This one has the squirrels beat and it's fun to watch them slide off the dome. I am sure that the squirrels think it is a joy ride as they keep it up for quite awhile.
