The overall design of the sword as depicted in the film "The Last Samurai" is excellent! I am very happy with it. However, I was actually expecting the blade to have a sharper edge though. I have another type of Samurai sword from another company in which the blade has a nice sharp cutting edge so I can practice slicing soft objects with during my training. I will still use it as a display model in any case. Thank you.
